925 silver (sterling silver) and 6 mm Rock crystal.
This was a commission work in my on-the-job learning period in a goldsmith's workshop here in Finland. I had to make a silver pendant for the Rock crystal-stone and came up with this idea. The design might look better with colored stones, but this was the stone that I had to use

I tried etching for the first time with this piece. It was very fascinating and came up very nicely.
The inner cup is polished and it reflects the stone and the setting. The outer cup is matt.
