Description
925 silver (sterling silver), 30 pcs of 2 mm, white cubic zirconia and 12 mm blue topaz.
This was also a school commission. My class and I were given a title "Jälki jää" wich is hard to translate, but it means literally something like, "mark stays" or "trail stays" (the finnish world ”jälki” means a lot of things, but in this case the concept is that something that leaves or has left a mark or an impression). There is also going to be a display here in Finland for these jewelries we make.
My idea was a captured soul, because soul is a kind of a thing that leaves a mark to us all. I wanted to make a cage and make a soul inside it from bright gems.
The cage is matt from the outside and polished from the inside. There are also 30 cubic zirconias in inside that I gypsy set (gosh what a work it was -.-). After the setting was done I riveted the cage together from the top and the crown setting through the bottom.

Simply amazing, especially considering that the inside is set with stones as well as the center!
